Role - Senior QA Analyst

Project Responsibilities 

As a Senior QA Analyst on Moving Out 2, I was responsible for ensuring test plans remained up to date with the latest content, allowing for efficient and comprehensive testing. My role also involved assisting with networking tests, specifically for multiplayer functionality on Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S, to ensure seamless online connectivity and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintained and updated test plans to reflect the latest game content and features.
  • Assisted in networking tests for multiplayer functionality on Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S, verifying stability and performance.
  • Logged and tracked issues using Redmine, ensuring detailed documentation for developers.
  • Conducted exploratory testing to identify gameplay, UI, and network-related bugs.
  • Coordinated with the development team to provide feedback on online performance and matchmaking.
  • Performed regression testing to ensure previous fixes did not introduce new issues.
  • Verified cross-platform functionality, ensuring a smooth experience across different consoles.


Testing Strategies:
To ensure comprehensive coverage, I implemented various testing methodologies:
  • Exploratory Testing – Played through different multiplayer scenarios to identify unexpected issues.
  • Test Case Execution – Followed structured test plans to validate gameplay mechanics, UI, and network performance.
  • Network & Performance Testing – Assessed online multiplayer connectivity, matchmaking, and stability.
  • Regression Testing – Re-tested resolved issues to confirm fixes and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Compatibility Testing – Ensured game stability and smooth performance across Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S.
Through these strategies, I contributed to the refinement of Moving Out 2, ensuring a polished and enjoyable multiplayer experience for players across platforms.
