Grid Legends - Codemasters / EA

My third Industry title this time with Codemasters/EA, during this project I assumed the role of a QA Technician below is a breakdown of what my role consisted of during the development of Grid Legends.

My Role

Worked with the Functional team​ on a variety of game modes and features ranging from Story, Career, Race Creator and Sponsors. 

Reporting any issues to the JIRA database and then preforming regression on any claimed fixed issues. thorough testing and reporting any issues on the Excel forms to indicate to the leads where issues are located.

Finally localisation testing different languages such as Italian, Spanish, and German. Making sure all subtitles matched the cutscenes to the correct timings.

Skills Used/Learnt

  • Advanced my knowledge as a QA Technician 
  • Used the XDK (Xbox Development Kit) to manage the project files.
  • Advanced my JIRA knowledge and creating detailed and precise bug reports.
  • Communicating issues to other members of the team to get features tested as quick as possible.
  • Assisted newer members of the team using my expanded knowledge of how the project was managed.
  • Localisation testing (English, Italian, German, Spanish)
