My RoleMy role consisted of testing existing and newly implemented features for any issues, and then reporting them onto a issue tracking software (Redmine).
Working with others as well as working solo, completing test plans and recording any issues found in that area of the game. Helped with the builds for the Closed Beta, Tech Test, GamesCom 2022 and the TwitchCon 2022 making sure the game was playable and no game breaking bugs would hinder the users experience. Learning new software called Redmine which has a similar layout to JIRA so it was quite easy to get to grips and hit the ground running to report issues found. It got to the point in the project where I was using this project to begin my Senior QA Analyst training preparing me for future projects. During my training I was maintaining and updating Test plans with new content or out of date information. Joining in Production and weekly QA planning meetings. Getting a breakdown on what content was planned for future updates and preparing the team for testing to make any sign off period as smooth as possible. and covering for the other Senior on the Project. which gave me some other responsibilities such as creating a daily focus email which would let the other team members know what the plan was for the day as well as giving them any updates that had been requested to share with the team. |
