Project Responsibilities
As a Senior QA Analyst on Blasphemous 2, my primary focus was assisting with the sign-off period for multiple platforms, including Steam, GoG, and Epic Games. During this critical phase, I ensured that all platforms met quality standards and were ready for release. Additionally, I was responsible for completing the Boss test plans for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4, ensuring a polished and seamless gaming experience across these consoles.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisted with the sign-off process for multiple platforms, including Steam, GoG, and Epic Games, ensuring all platforms met quality standards before release.
Developed and executed Boss test plans specifically for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4, validating performance, gameplay mechanics, and stability.
Coordinated cross-platform testing to ensure a consistent and seamless experience across different consoles and storefronts.
Logged and tracked issues using Redmine, ensuring clear documentation and effective communication with the development team.
Conducted exploratory testing to identify potential issues in boss battles, gameplay mechanics, and user interface elements.
Performed regression testing to ensure that previous fixes were maintained across platforms and that no new issues were introduced.
Testing Strategies: To ensure comprehensive testing coverage, I implemented the following strategies:
Test Case Execution – Developed and followed structured test plans to validate boss mechanics and gameplay functionality across Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4.
Cross-Platform Testing – Ensured the game performed consistently across multiple platforms, including Steam, GoG, and Epic Games.
Exploratory Testing – Played through various boss scenarios to uncover unexpected issues related to gameplay, AI, and visual presentation.
Regression Testing – Re-tested previously resolved issues to ensure no new bugs were introduced, ensuring a stable release for all platforms.
Sign-off Support – Assisted in the sign-off process, ensuring all necessary tests were completed and met quality standards before game release.
Through these efforts, I contributed to ensuring that Blasphemous 2 met the highest quality standards across all platforms, delivering a polished and stable experience for players.
